Aleister Crowley: The Enochian Sessions.

These incredibly rare wax cylinder recordings were made by sex magick mystic Aleister Crowley during the 1920's. Recording both in English and Enochian, the Old Scratch wannabe forever immortalizes his own scratchy vocals for future de-generations to puzzle over -- was he a mystic or just mystick-aken?

Because wax cylinder recordings are not exactly Surround 5.1 Sound in terms of modern audio fidelity (or is that infidelity in the case of AC?), we've digitally enhanced the master sources for clarity.

Now you can hear the self-proclaimed Beast 666 chant in both English and Spirit Lingo odes to the sunken Titanic (still fresh in memory!), summon Astral Beings from Another Dimension, & more! But keep an eye on those dark corners of your room while you listen. Weird & Incredibly Rare! -- Notes by Jack Parsons, Jr.

Criswell Predicts

"Ah, Greetings, My Friends!" he would intone in his best boozy baritone, adding: "We are all interested in the future, for that is where we will spend the rest of our lives." And so would begin another episode of "radio theater" with the jovial and psychic Criswell as your host.

Criswell is perhaps best known for introducing PLAN NINE FROM OUTER SPACE, but his real achievement (and his bread and butter paycheck between Ed Wood flicks for vodka purchases by the crate loads) was his psychic prediction show, which he
hosted for many years on L.A. radio & t.v.

These super rare recordings feature Cris predicting even whilst he hiccups into his gin martini glass. Amazing! And less you think he's totally off his rocker, listen to some of his more interesting predictions: that the South will become conservative and rule the nation as a political power base; tattoos will become socially acceptable body art; and that there will be a clear division between two national parties that no one "in good conscience" could possibly fail to see. Wow! What was in that gin he was drinking -- a shot of mescaline twist? -- Notes by Taffy Lewis.

Horror Kings: In Their Own Words.

Whether you value the current horror cinema or think current horror is without currency, you will treasure this "lost" assemblage of interviews with the Golden Age of Horror greats Lon Chaney, Jr., Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff. For they define the very era in which they at times uneasily co-existed with a timeless grace and charm so often lacking in today's blathering televised medium of tedium.

The entertainment comes from the pro charms on display made so effortlessly by the interviewed subjects, who are a far cry from the self-obsessed narcissistic vapoids of today who crave the papparazi attention but have nothing to say when they get the microphone.

Herein, you get substantial and disarmingly frank answers to often amazingly personal questions. For example, listen in growing dismay as a nosy and brutish radio reporter cynically comments on asides he believes Lugosi either cannot hear (or worse, doesn't care if the old man hears) concerning Lugosi's recent divorce, still fresh in the headlines. Poor Bela is reduced to blubbering on and on about being in a new "Ed Wood production" as proof he's still "in the biz" even as Bela is just getting out of rehab! No wonder Lugosi was buried with his prop Dracula ring and cape -- so the real bloodsuckers like this crass "reporter" wouldn't E-Bay his remains for profit!

Sad stories aside, this is a truly unique combination of venerable stars of the bygone era illustrating that talent and ability to spin a good yarn often went hand-in-claw in the "Old Ghoul"/Old School. Mesmerizing and evocative. -- Notes by Sammy Glick.

Sasquatch: The Legend of Bigfoot -- SOUNDTRACK

For fans who have searched the rugged back woods for this long-believed "lost" collectors' item, we are pleased to present -- at long last! -- the soundtrack for the original 33 r.p.m. issued when SASQUATCH, THE LEGEND OF BIGFOOT was touring theaters on its first North American release.

If you purchased one of these now highly-collectible premiums in the lobby as a child, odds are you purchased it from none other than producer Ron Olsen or his family, as they released the picture four-wall themselves, cleaning up at the box office and making this one of the
most successful indie flix ever made and released in the USA. Quite a big footprint for such a small, family-driven enterprise, eh?

As anyone who has seen and heard the flick will atest, it is the powerful score as much as the authenticity on display for actual Sasquatch history that makes this such a rare find for 'Squatch fans. Not only do you get to hear the lovely gut-wrenching howls of a lonely but territorially-pissed Bigfoot throughout the opening track, but you also get a true variety of both suspense and folk music that make the flick unique. -- Notes by Travis Crabtree.

FEATURES: CD-R. Stereo. 18 Mins. Cover Art.
Plastic Case. Includes Bonus JPEG Images of Sasquatch. CD Price $7.95. Prefer to download the entire soundtrack right now? Click here.

Zero Hour with Rod SerlingZero Hour -- Volumes 1 & 2.

Rod Serling hosted this well-produced radio chiller that was broadcast in the early 1970's on the CBS Syndicated Broadcast Network. Designed to both revitalize the dying art form of radio suspense drama and cash in on Serling's diverse fan base, it was given a very big ballyhoo in its era, even if its ultimate fate was to remain largely ignored... until now.

His instantly recognizable voice makes each tale come alive with terror as he gravely advises you between raspy-throated, unfiltered puffs to "Rest your eyes... exercise your imagination." And with such creepily effective titles as "I Wouldn't Want to Die There" and "The Fourth of Forever," and well-scripted stories that keep your interest and you guessing, it's easy to see why Serling was eager to lend his name to this last gasp of a passing medium that once launched such geniuses as Orson Welles but was soon to become nothing but a vast wasteland of AM talk radio blathering neo-con'd banalities.

Featuring a diverse set of radio masters such as William Shatner, Lee Meriweather, Mel Torme, Ross Martin & many more guest stars, you're sure to find literally hours per volume of listening pleasure!
